Five years in China

After five years travelling in China, I have now been to almost every province in the country. I have decided to start this page so that anybody wishing to travel in this wonderful country might have something to go by. This blog is just a mixture of personal impressions and photos that I’ve taken. I hope it might be of some use.

About me

I have lived and worked in four different regions of China: Anhui, a poor inland province southwest of Shanghai; Yunnan, famous for its wildlife and minorities, and bordering Burma; Heilongjiang, known mainly for its long and bitterly cold winters, neighboring Russia; and Xinjiang, the largest and most western province of the country. At the time of writing I am living in Xinjiang.
